K220 Dual-Camera Video Telematics for Clearer Fleet Oversight

A connected 4G LTE camera system that records the road ahead and the vehicle interior in Full HD, helping fleet managers review incidents, monitor vehicle activity and make decisions using recorded footage and telematics data.

Product Overview

What Is the K220?

The K220 is an advanced 4G LTE digital camera system designed for fleet management. It combines forward-facing and in-cab Full HD recording with live viewing, satellite tracking, sensor data and access to a fleet management console.

The system gives fleet operators more context than location data alone. Road-facing and in-cab footage can be reviewed alongside vehicle position, track history and event information, helping management establish what occurred around a recorded event.

Built on a Qualcomm octa-core processor and Android 9.0 platform, the K220 supports open APIs and SDKs for integration with compatible fleet management and cloud platforms. Final functionality depends on the selected configuration, platform services, connectivity and vehicle compatibility.

Dual Full HD recording of the road ahead and vehicle interior

High-speed 4G LTE connectivity for remote live viewing

Satellite tracking, sensor data and event information

Fleet management console with dashboard, track history and notifications

Open APIs and SDKs for compatible system and cloud integration

ADAS and DMS functions supported

Dual Full HD Recording

Review the Road and In-Cab View Together

Two synchronised camera views provide clearer context when an incident or driving event needs to be reviewed.

Forward-facing camera: Full HD 1920 x 1080 pixels

In-cab camera: Full HD 1920 x 1080 pixels

Wide 142-degree field of view on both cameras

Infrared support on the inward camera for low-light visibility

Synchronised dual-camera recording

Emergency recording button to protect selected clips from being overwritten

SD card storage of up to 512GB

The forward-facing camera records the road ahead in Full HD at 1920 x 1080 pixels with a wide 142-degree field of view. The inward camera records the vehicle interior at the same resolution and field of view, with infrared support for improved visibility in low-light conditions.

Both views are recorded in synchronisation. An emergency recording button allows the driver to protect an important clip from being overwritten. Video can be stored on an SD card, while the K220 solution includes cloud storage for footage for up to six months, subject to successful data transmission.

Connected Fleet Visibility

Access Live Views and Fleet Information Remotely

Connected access allows authorised fleet personnel to review vehicle activity without waiting for the vehicle to return to its operating base.

Built-in 4G LTE Cat.6 connectivity supports remote live viewing, with 3G and 2G fallback where available. The unit also supports dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2 BLE, together with over-the-air firmware and settings updates.

Through the supported fleet management console, selected information can include a dashboard, live view, track history, geo-fencing and event notifications. Sensor and telematics data, event videos and images can be transmitted to the supporting cloud infrastructure according to the configured solution.

Built-in 4G LTE Cat.6 connectivity

3G and 2G fallback

Dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2 BLE

Remote live viewing through the supported platform

Dashboard, track history, geo-fencing and event notifications

Over-the-air firmware and settings updates

Driver Assistance, Monitoring and Vehicle Data

Add Driving Events and Vehicle Data to the Operational Record

Video becomes more useful when it can be reviewed with the driving event, vehicle position and relevant telematics data.

ADAS and DMS functions supported

Satellite tracking

3-axis G-sensor and gyroscope support

Sensor and telematics data linked to the operating record

Optional CAN bus integration

Smart Cable required for compatible vehicle and engine data

The K220 supports advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) and driver monitoring system (DMS) functions. These functions can assist fleet management in identifying and reviewing selected road-facing and in-cab events with the associated footage, depending on the configured platform.

Satellite tracking, a 3-axis G-sensor and gyroscope support add movement and position data to the operational record. Optional CAN bus integration can acquire compatible vehicle and engine telematics data when the K220 is equipped with the required Smart Cable. Compatibility must be confirmed for each vehicle before installation.

Hardware, Security and Integration

Designed for Connected Commercial Fleet Operations

The K220 combines compact windscreen-mounted hardware with protected storage, mobile connectivity and integration support.

The unit is built with industrial-grade components and includes a tamper-proof cover intended to prevent unauthorised removal. The protected housing contains the SD card and nano SIM, while the all-in-one connector links the unit to the vehicle battery and supports optional CAN bus integration.

A USB connection supports data transfer and an external camera connection. The Qualcomm octa-core processor, Android 9.0 platform and open APIs and SDKs provide a basis for integration with compatible fleet management systems and cloud platforms.
